Upcoming Children's Events

Conservation Poster Contest for Kids & Teens

  • Date: 07/29/2024  

What can we all do to protect nature? How do we conserve our resources? Kids and teens (TK - 12th grades) are invited to design a poster showing the community what we can do to help nature. Librarians and Park Rangers will select the winning posters, which will be exhibited in August in brand new display cases at Sycamore Grove Park.

All ages can join the fun and sign up (if you haven't already) for Summer Learning at Livermore.beanstack.org or on the Beanstack app. Paper gameboards are also available at all Livermore Library locations.

Summer Learning runs until August 14, 2024. Participants who track their reading and activities have a chance to win prizes. Everyone receives a free book just for signing up. Thanks to Friends of the Livermore Library and our other partners for making Summer Learning and its events possible.
