How to reserve the gallery?
Contact the Library Administration Office - 925-373-5500 extension 5599 Monday through Friday - 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for current availability before filling out a form.
Complete and submit an Art Gallery Interest Form to Library Administration from the 1st-5th of the month no more than a year in advance of the month you want to exhibit. For example, you would submit an Interest Form September 1st-5th of 2011 for an exhibit in September 2012. You will then receive a written response around the 10th of that month.

What are the exhibit standards?
All items displayed in the gallery must be stabilized so that they may be installed using the Cobra and Steel Cable with self locking hook display system.
Lettering on all signs and labels should be of high quality, neat, and clear.
Labels must be mounted on the item being exhibited rather than the wall.
A sign including contact information about the exhibitors is recommended.
Prices of items for sale and contact information for purchase may be listed on a single sheet.
Exhibits may not be changed after installation.
When and how are exhibits installed?
Exhibitors are entirely responsible for installing their displays.
Exhibitors must provide all necessary equipment including ladders for display installation.
Bulletin Board users should provide a backing to cover the cork surface.
Exhibitors must install the entire display at the same time.
When possible exhibits should be installed Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Installation time must be coordinated with the Library Administration Office to avoid conflict with Community Room users and other exhibitors.
Reconsideration of an exhibit?
Print a request for reconsideration of an exhibit. Forms can be submitted to the Library Administration office located at the Civic Center Library - 1188 S. Livermore Avenue.

Civic Center Library Community Rooms & Civic Center Library Board Room
Non-profit and commercial groups which are open to the public can reserve meeting rooms.
Advance reservation and fee required.

Civic Center Small Conference Room and Quiet Study Rooms
Individuals or small groups may use the study rooms.
Rooms may be reserved seven days ahead.
There is a two hour limit, per party.

$21/hour *
$105 per day **
* Any portion of an hour is considered an hour.
** A day is more than five hours.
There may be additional charges for equipment use.
Civic Center Small Conference Room and Quiet Study Rooms are free and can be reserved up to seven days in advance for up to two hours per party. Contact the Information Services desk at (925) 373-5505 to reserve one of these rooms.
