OTHER FREE AND LOW-COST LEGAL AID

LARPD Senior Center: Free legal advice and consultation from a professional lawyer over the phone for Seniors 60+. No legal advice is provided for wills.

Legal Access Alameda: Free and low-cost legal assistance. They provide a pro bono service. Please visit their website to fill out an online request form. They also provide a remote (via phone) clinic the first Saturday of the month. CLASP clinic takes appointments between 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. and brief 15-minute consultations will take place later that afternoon. See their website for more information.

Centro Legal de la Raza: Drop-in clinics and other services, focusing on tenants’ rights and immigration.

Bay Area Legal Aid: Offers a tenants’ rights line; legal advice line focusing on housing, public benefits, and consumer law; and a Health Consumer Center.

The Alameda County Law Library: Has a list of legal aid organizations that can help with a variety of matters, including housing and economics rights, family violence, legal assistance for seniors, civil rights, and more.
