The Livermore Public Library will host an Astronomy Night on Thursday, Nov. 3 at 6:30 p.m. at the Civic Center Library, 1188 S. Livermore Ave. Attendees will have the chance to learn about astronomy during an indoor talk from the Tri-Valley Stargazers at 6:30 p.m. The public may explore the night sky with telescopes outside starting at 7 p.m. This is a free event for all ages. No registration is required.
Telescopes to Use at Home
Orion StarBlast 4.5 Astro Reflector Telescopes are available for check out from the Livermore Public Library. Telescopes may be reserved online or at the library information desk. The telescopes are part of the Library of Things which offers non-traditional items for checkout, including musical instruments, board games, and robots.
