Welcome to the info page for Livermore Public Library's new improved online catalog! See some key features below and start exploring today. The catalog allows you to search library materials, place holds, and manage your personal account. It also allows you to interact easily with library staff, create themed lists, review books, and share your recommendations with the library community.
Gain access to the new catalog by logging into an existing library account with your library card barcode and PIN. You’ll be asked to register by creating a username and entering an email address.
Registration is simplified for children under 13. They are asked to pick a favorite animal and favorite color, and the system combines the two to create a unique username.
Once registered for our new online catalog, you’ll be able to:
- Search smarter with natural language
- Browse better and find exactly what you're looking for
- Easily view our catalog on mobile devices
- Borrow and return OverDrive ebooks and audiobooks directly from your library account
- Get and create recommended reading lists
- Share reviews and ratings
- Keep track of books you want to read and your reading history
- "Follow" friends and library staff for updates on what they are reading
Getting Started
- To begin using our new catalog, go to livermorelibrary.bibliocommons.com
- Enter your Library card barcode and PIN
- Create a username for logging into the catalog
Adjust Your Privacy Settings
By default, lists and shelves you create are visible to other users. You can adjust your privacy settings from My Settings after you log in. All browsing and borrowing activity is confidential, in accordance with our policy.
