Armchair Travelers: Bus Tour of Historic Israel

Harry Briley will present an Armchair Travelers program on Thursday, Nov. 14, at 1:30 p.m. in the Civic Center Library Storytime Room, 1188 S. Livermore Ave. Harry’s presentation is entitled “Bus Tour of Historic Israel.” Registration is not required to attend this free program for adults.

Harry will show photos and talk about his experiences on a six-day bus tour of Israel as a first-time visitor. He toured various historic sites, including Mt. Carmel, the Crusader Castle in Acre, the Galilee sites, the Jordan River, and Greek ruins that rival Ephesus. Harry also visited Bethlehem (St. Jerome’s cave), the Old City of Jerusalem, and Masada.
