The Livermore Public Library and City of Livermore are celebrating Unity Week, Oct. 14-18, with LVJUSD and LARPD, and we hope you join in on the activities.
- Monday October 14: Take the Unity Pledge at https://www.pacer.org/bullying/pledge or in person* at to show your support for Kindness, Inclusion and Acceptance for everyone in Livermore. *Livermore Public Libraries *LVJUSD - District Office; *Robert Livermore Community Center; *Livermore City Hall; *Livermore Police Dept.
- Tuesday October 15: Paint a rock with encouraging messages of Kindness, Inclusion, and Acceptance. Instructions and supplies will be provided.
- Civic Center Library: 3 - 6 p.m.
- Rincon Library: 4 -5 p.m.
- Springtown Library: 4 -5 p.m.
- Wednesday October 16: Wear and share orange on Unity Day to promote Kindness, Inclusion and Acceptance in recognition of National Bullying Prevention and Awareness Month. Create a link of kindness for the Unity Chain at any Livermore Public Library location to show that you're against bullying. Share photos on social media with hashtag #UnityDayLivermoreCA
- Thursday October 17: Unity Walk with a Cop in Sycamore Grove Park (Wetmore entrance) and LARPD rangers. Learn about Unity Day and get to know your neighbors. A good evening outing for everyone of all ages. Receive a special Unity Day charm for participating.
- Friday October 18: Chalk It Up! Join us at Civic Center Library as we use sidewalk chalk to draw and write words of kindness for all to see. All ages are welcome at this all day long event!
