Pick the Next Livermore Reads Together Book

Help select the next featured book for Livermore Reads Together (LRT) 2025. The theme for LRT 2025 is Artificial Intelligence (AI). The selected title will inspire events, discussions, and activities for all ages throughout the program.

Voting is open now at http://tiny.cc/stalzz and ends on Monday, October 28, 2024, at 5 p.m. Community members are encouraged to select one of the following AI-themed books:

  • The Wild Robot by Peter Brown
  • The Worlds I See: Curiosity, Exploration, and Discovery at the Dawn of AI by Dr. Fei-Fei Li
  • Klara and the Sun by Kazuo Ishiguro
  • Blade Runner (Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?) by Philip K. Dick
  • How to Stay Smart in a Smart World: Why Human Intelligence Still Beats Algorithms by Gerd Gigerenzer
  • Robopocalypse by Daniel H. Wilson
  • All Systems Red by Martha Wells

The Livermore Reads Together program aims to bring the community together through a shared reading experience, fostering insightful discussions on timely and relevant issues. This year’s focus on AI is set to inspire engaging conversations about the impact and role of technology in people's lives.
