A poetry and art project designed to appeal to a wide-range of individuals of all ages. Create a poem about your heart and then turn it into paper beads. Everyone will leave with a necklace or bracelet that features the paper beads they made, with their heart poem hidden inside. Cynthia Patton, Livermore Poet Laureate and community outreach artist will be facilitating.
Cynthia J. Patton is an attorney, activist, author, educator, and founder of the nonprofit, Autism A to Z. Her award-winning work has appeared in Across An Aqueous Moon: Travels in Autism, fifteen anthologies, numerous publications, her blog, An Unplanned Life, and onstage.
