Wild, Odd, and Weird Animals (for all ages)

A wildlife science event for all ages. Learn about science and the environment while viewing rescued wild animals from Bay Area Wild. This program explores the gentler side of the most misunderstood animals of the wild kingdom. We dispel myths and explore the important roles these animals have in nature’s diverse web of life. Students will learn the significance of all living things even the “creepy” ones. Featuring: Opossum, Tarantula, Vulture, & Boa. Bring a blanket to sit on.

Our Summer Learning Program runs until August 14, 2024. All ages are encouraged to join. Register (if you haven't already) at Livermore.beanstack.org or on the Beanstack app. Paper gameboards are available at all Livermore Library locations. Receive a free book just for signing up. Participants who read and log their minutes have the opportunity to win prizes. Raffle prizes include Nintendo Switch, Le Creuset Chef’s Oven, LEGO Sets, and more! Thank you to the Friends of the Livermore Library and our other partners.
