Paws to Read at Rincon Library

Kids can practice with a furry listener. The dogs from Paws to Read are waiting to hear you read to them. Registration opens on August 1. Register by calling 925-373-5540 or 925-373-5505 to sign-up for a 15-minute reading session.

  • Participating children should not be fearful of dogs or have allergies to pets.
  • Participants should be independent readers and be able to sit calmly for the 15-minute session.
  • (Recommended for grades K-5)

Summer Learning runs until August 14, 2024. All ages can join the fun and sign up (if you haven't already) for Summer Learning at Livermore.beanstack.org or on the Beanstack app. Paper gameboards are also available at all Livermore Library locations. Receive a free book just for signing up. Participants who track their reading and activities have a chance to win prizes. Thanks to Friends of the Livermore Library and our other partners for making Summer Learning and its events possible.
