Jazz in July: Charged Particles

Jazz in July, an annual Livermore tradition, once again takes over the Civic Center Library for four programs by top jazz artists. Held on Sundays at 2 p.m. in the Civic Center Library, 1188 S. Livermore Ave, Jazz and July programs are free of charge, thanks to the generosity of the Friends of the Livermore Public Library. No reservations are required to attend. Parking and seats are limited, so arrive early!

Jazz and July Lineup:

July 21: Charged Particles - This award-winning Bay Area jazz trio has played their unique blend of funky Latin jazz in Indonesia, the U.K., Canada, Germany, Switzerland, Sweden, Italy, and Abu Dhabi, as well as throughout the U.S. during their 32 years. This performance will feature guest saxophonist Tod Dickow, who Jazz Life magazine called “one of the best saxophonists in the world.”

July 28: Ashley Jemison - Join us for a live saxophone concert by this ultra-talented musician. Jemison brings a new school vibe to smooth jazz by covering the current styles of R&B and pop music, while adding a unique improvisational twist that leaves her audiences wanting more.
