Last Day to Submit Art for the Library Card Contest

  • Date: 06/30/2024  (all day)

Today, June 6, is the last day to submit artwork to Civic Center Library for the Library Card Art Contest. The contest is open to Livermore residents of all ages. One entry per person. Entries will be accepted at Civic Center Library until 5:55 p.m. on Sunday, June 30, 2024.

Design the Library's next library card! Livermore's heritage, viticulture, science and arts form a rich identity and way of life that the library celebrates with the various library card designs that we offer. In addition to the existing spurs, grapes and Livermorium designs, the library is looking to add a new card design representing the arts in Livermore. Show us what art in Livermore means to you!

After the submission period is complete, library staff will select the top ten finalists. From those ten finalists, the Livermore community will select the ultimate winner in a vote that will take place from July 17 – 31, 2024. The winner’s artwork will be printed on the Library’s newest card design.

Please visit any Livermore Public Library location or go to the Library’s website for an entry form and the complete contest rules.

Register (if you haven't already) for our Summer Learning Program at Livermore.beanstack.org or on the Beanstack app. Paper gameboards are available at all Livermore Library locations.

The Livermore Public Library Summer Learning Program runs until August 14, 2024. Help us meet our community reading goal of 5 million minutes! All ages are encouraged to join. Participants who read and log their minutes have the opportunity to win prizes. Raffle prizes include Nintendo Switch, Le Creuset Chef’s Oven, LEGO Sets, and more! Children receive a free book just for signing up. Thank you to the Friends of the Livermore Library and our other sponsors.
