College Planning Workshop: What Colleges Want

Livermore Public Library, the American Association of University Women (AAUW), and Las Positas College present informative workshops to Livermore middle and high school students, and their families to help prepare and plan for college, from what classes to take in high school, to what to state on the college applications, and how to pay for college. Registration is not needed. Open to students in grades 7-12.

March 7: Session 2: What Do Colleges Want?
Description: Join AAUW and independent College Admissions consultants as they help untangle the complexities of the college admission process to help you find the best school for your needs. Best for students in Grades 9-11. For more information, call the library at 925-373-5500.

March 13: Session 3: Financing College Education
Description: Join financial aid specialist from Las Positas College to learn about the various financial aid options and resources available to finance college education. Best for students in Grades 10-12.  For more information, call the library at 925-373-5500.
