'Empowerment Through Identity' Poetry Workshop with Elizabeth Jiménez Montelongo

Join artist and poet Elizabeth Jiménez Montelongo for a community poetry workshop. Elizabeth will guide participants to write a poem about themselves, their experiences, and their visions for the future. Participants will also listen to a variety of poetry, including poems by Elizabeth. This workshop is for adults, teens and children ages 7 and older, but kids ages 5 & 6 are welcome to join with one participating adult per child. No registration is required.

This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Livermore Public Library as part of Livermore Reads Together, a community-wide reading program featuring Tommy Orange’s There There.  Check out a copy of There There from Livermore Public Library.
