Artist Reception: Art of the African Diaspora – Black History Month Exhibit

In honor of Black History Month 2024, Livermore Public Library will collaborate with Art of the African Diaspora for a third year to host a Black History Month Art Exhibit curated by TheArthur Wright within the Civic Center Library Art Gallery. An Artist Reception will be held on Saturday, Feb. 10, 2024, at 12 p.m. in the Civic Center Library Community Rooms A & B to celebrate and honor the Art of the African Diaspora artists: Arthur Norcome, Joseph Robinson, Asual Kwahuumba, Julie Atkinson, Kevin Lance Daniels, Joanne Johnson, and Ashlie Kego.

Meet the artists, learn about their artwork, and enjoy hors d'oeuvres from the Pleasanton Catering Company will be served, no registration is required to attend this event.

All Black History Month 2024 events are free and open to the public thanks to the support of the Friends of the Livermore Public Library. For more information, please call (925) 373-5505.
