Join a ranger to learn about the basics of birding–what to look (and listen!) for, common birds in our area, and recommended tools to get started. Attending this event will prime you to participate in the Great Backyard Bird Count from Feb. 16-19, 2024. We will also go over how to use the apps Merlin Bird ID and eBird. Downloading these apps ahead of time is encouraged. This event is for adults, teens and kids ages 6+.
