Latinx / Hispanic Heritage Month 2023: Author Norman Antonio Zelaya

Tuesday, Sept. 26 at 7 p.m. – Martes, 26 de sept. a las 7 p.m.  

Join library staff for a bilingual interview with San Francisco (SF) author, Norman Antonio Zelaya. His writing is inspired by his Nicoya heritage and his lived experience as a SF native and Mission District homeboy. Mr. Zelaya will also be reading from his two collections of short fiction, Orlando & Other Stories (Pochino Press, 2017), and Gente, Folks (Black Freighter Press, 2022). Currently, he is completing a debut novel.

Participa en una entrevista bilingüe con el autor de San Francisco (SF), Norman Antonio Zelaya. Su escritura está inspirada en su herencia de Nicoya y su experiencia viviendo como nativo de SF y homeboy del Distrito de la Misión. El Sr. Zelaya también leerá de sus dos colecciones de ficción corta, Orlando & Other Stories (Pochino Press,2017) y Gente, Folks (Black Freighter Press, 2022). Actualmente, está terminando una novela debut.
