Join former award-winning journalist and UC Berkeley School of Journalism lecturer Robert H. Rogers in a three-part series, designed to help you better navigate news and information in this age of complex digital media.
Get a grounding in the history and context of mass communications, survey the landscape today, and build the critical thinking skills and digital tools. This series will help you be a better-informed news consumer and citizen in our democratic society.
The series will take place on three Wednesday evenings in August from 6:30 – 8 p.m. at Civic Center Library, 1188 S. Livermore Ave., Livermore. The topics covered are outlined below:
