History & Current Events Book Club (hybrid mtg)

Letters to My Palestinian Neighbor by Yassi Klein Halevi is the June book for the History and Current Events Book Club. Join in person at the Civic Center Library in the Board Room or via Zoom at https://us02web.zoom.us/j/88607174362 on June 20 at 7 p.m.

"Letters to My Palestinian Neighbor documents one Israeli's attempt to reach beyond the wall that separates Israelis and Palestinians. In a series of letters, Yossi Klein Halevi explains what motivated him to leave his native New York in his twenties and move to Israel to participate in the drama of the renewal of a Jewish homeland, which he is committed to see succeed as a morally responsible, democratic state in the Middle East." – the publisher.

The History & Current Events Book Club is a hybrid meeting led by volunteer Book Club Coordinator Curt Covey. Meetings are on the third Tuesday of each month at Civic Center Library in the Board Room and also on Zoom. Members vote on future books.
