"Patron Saints of Nothing" book cover imageIn celebration of Filipino American History Month, the Livermore Public Library will host a book talk with the Livermore Filipino American Organization to discuss the novel Patron Saints of Nothing by Randy Ribay via Zoom. Registration is required; register by calling (925) 373-5505. Participants will receive a Zoom meeting link by email two days prior to event.

Patron Saints of Nothing is a powerful coming-of-age story about grief, guilt, and the risks a Filipino American teenager takes to uncover the truth about his cousin's murder. As gripping as it is lyrical, Patron Saints of Nothing is a page-turning portrayal of the struggle to reconcile faith, family, and immigrant identity.

This program is part of the Library’s Authors and Arts Series, supported by the Friends of the Livermore Public Library.
