Poetry in a Test Tube with Livermore Poet Laureate

Livermore Poet Laureate Cynthia J. Patton will host a poetry event to share her writings and announce the winners of Livermore’s 6th Annual Poetry in a Test Tube science poetry contest. Poetry in a Test Tube participants will read their submitted contest poems. This free program will be held inside the Storytime Room at Civic Center Library.

Founded in 2017 by former Poet Laureate Kevin Gunn, Poetry in a Test Tube is a celebration of Livermore’s scientific heritage. Submissions are accepted in four divisions: youth (K-5th grade), middle school, high school, and adult. The Livermore Public Library invites the community to meet and celebrate the participants of Poetry in a Test Tube.
