Safe Driving Workshop for New Drivers

  • Date: 04/13/2022 6:00 PM
  • Location: Online via Zoom

A safe driving workshop for new drivers will take place virtually via Zoom. Claudia Castro, Senior Driver Ombudsman at the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV), will present important information relevant to new drivers. Attendees will learn what the DMV expects them to know about California traffic laws. New drivers will also learn what the Department is looking for during the drive test. New and soon-to-be drivers, in addition to their parents, are welcome to attend.

Registration is not required for this free event. Participants may use the following link to join the webinar: bit.ly/3JGVKzT. The webinar will be recorded and posted to the Library’s Youtube channel after the program occurs. New drivers interested in watching the presentation using the library’s computers may request a free pair of earbuds at the public service desk, while supplies last.

For more information about traffic safety or obtaining a driver’s license, please see the DMV’s website.
