Livermore Public Library Summer Learning Program

The Livermore Public Library invites the community to join its annual Summer Learning Program, running from May 26 through August 4, with opportunities for readers of all ages to learn, explore, and win exciting prizes while keeping minds active during the summer months.

Reading over the summer plays an important role in helping children maintain and build their literacy skills, supporting continued academic success when school resumes.

Participants can register beginning May 1, either through the Beanstack app or by picking up a paper gameboard and collect a registration prize at any Livermore Public Library location. Children receive a free book and adults receive a book-themed enamel pin.

The program is open to all ages, with prize opportunities tailored to each age group. Throughout the summer, participants can earn raffle tickets for a chance to win grand prizes including a Nintendo Switch 2, gift cards to Great Wolf Lodge and Alden Lane Nursery, a SpongeBob claw machine, and more.

To celebrate the start of the program, the Library will host a Summer Learning Festival on Saturday, May 30, featuring fun activities for the whole family.

In addition to reading and learning challenges, the Library will offer a full calendar of free events throughout the summer, encouraging creativity, discovery, and community engagement. For more information call 925-373-5505.

The Summer Learning Program is generously supported by the Friends of the Livermore Library. Additional community partners include Chick-fil-APanda ExpressLivermore Area Recreation and Park District, Alden Lane Nursery, Meadowlark Dairy, Sunrise Mountain Sports, Quest Science Center, UC Master Gardeners, Open Heart Kitchen, and East Bay Regional Park District.
