Livermore Public Library recently added two new resources and upgraded another in its Digital Library. Patrons using the New York Times through the Library now have access to an upgraded subscription that includes news plus games and cooking. PressReader is a platform for accessing magazines and newspapers, including U.S. and international editions and publications in full color in over 60 languages. O’Reilly is a service that provides access to thousands of expert technology and business books, videos, and learning resources. Patrons can improve their computer skills with O'Reilly online modules and programming books.
Accessing the New York Times through Livermore Public Library now offers unlimited news articles, access to games like Spelling Bee, Wordle, the Crossword and more puzzles, and recipes from their cooking section. Patrons can get started by redeeming a code from the link on the Library’s website and activating access by logging in or registering for a free account. Click "Register Now" to sign up and create an account with a valid personal email address, or, if you already have a NYT account, log in. The code provides unlimited access for 72 hours. Patrons may return to the link any time to renew their free access.
