LYC 2026-2027 Application Form
Today, July 31, 2026, is the last day to return your completed Livermore Youth Council (LYC) application. Return completed applications to the Civic Center Library Information Desk or by email to njbrumley@livermoreca.gov by July 31, 2026, at 6 p.m. If selected to move to the next stage, an interview will be scheduled during the first week of August.
This is an opportunity for Livermore youth in grades 7-12 who are interested in: Building community; Being the voice for youth in Livermore; Engaging with city leaders while learning about government; and finding solutions to address the needs of Livermore's youth. Applicants (entering grades 7-12) should be able to take an active role in projects, and be able to participate in and attend LYC meetings, sub-committee meetings, and events. Additional responsibilities may be required if appointed as an LYC liaison to another group, or as an officer.
Attendance to meetings and LYC events by members should be considered mandatory. A total of three absences in a single school year, starting from the beginning of the new term, will be considered a voluntary resignation from LYC.
