Paws to Read at Rincon Library

Practice your reading with a furry listener. The dogs from Paws to Read are waiting for you.

  • Register by calling 925-373-5540 at the beginning of each week.
  • Participating children should not be fearful of dogs or have allergies to pets.
  • Participants should be independent readers and be able to sit calmly for a 10 – 15-minute session. (Recommended for grades K – 5)

All ages can sign up (if you haven't already) to join Summer Learning. Register at Livermore.beanstack.org or on the Beanstack app. Paper gameboards are also available at all Livermore Library locationsSummer Learning runs until August 4, 2026. Participants who track their reading and activities have a chance to win prizes. Everyone receives a free book just for signing up! Thanks to Friends of the Livermore Library and our other partners for making the Summer Learning program and events possible.
