Summer Learning Program Begins!

The Livermore Public Library Summer Learning Program begins today May 26 through August 4, 2026. All ages are welcome to join the fun. Participants can track their reading and activities to earn raffle prizes like a Nintendo Switch 2, Great Wolf Lodge Giftcard, SpongeBob Claw Machine, Digital Camera, Alden Lane Nursery Giftcards, Art Glass Studio Giftcard, and more! Everyone receives a free book just for signing up. Register at Livermore.beanstack.org or on the Beanstack app. Paper gameboards are also available at all Livermore Library locations.

🌱“Plant A Seed, Read”📙 is the theme for the 2026 Summer Learning Program. The Livermore Public Library is committed to supporting youth summer learning.  According to a study by the Rand Corporation, students lose knowledge and skills over summer break, performing, on average, one month behind where they left off in the spring.  Summer learning programs can help children improve academic outcomes and instill a love of learning.
