Forum on New Teen Space Plans

The Livermore Public Library is in the planning stages ofcreating a dedicated space designed just for teens at Civic Center Library. The new area will include comfortable seating and flexible spaces for teens to collaborate, study, connect with friends, and work on projects. Our goal is to create a place where Livermore teens feel comfortable, inspired, and connected while using the library.

Join us on May 13, 2026, between 6 - 7:30 p.m. to learn about the space, hear from the architects working on the project, speak with library staff, and see samples for the new Teen Space. We look forward to hearing from you there! If you're unable to attend, there's a form online to provide input.

Visit https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/ZCZRRL9 to express ideas by May 15, 2026, on the current design which is the result of focus groups with the teenagers serving on the Livermore Youth Council. We welcome and appreciate feedback and ideas from the community as we continue plans to shape this space.
