Livermore Public Library is thrilled to welcome Marianne Monson, acclaimed author of Frontier Grit: The Unlikely True Stories of Daring Pioneer Women. Join us for a talk on Zoom at https://us02web.zoom.us/j/88064438285 on Tuesday, March 10 at 7 p.m. (PST). Discover the incredible stories of courageous women who defied expectations and helped shape the American frontier. Monson’s work brings history to life with tales of resilience, adventure, and grit!  

About the Author:
Marianne Monson is a best-selling author of twelve books for children and adults, specializing in frontier-era women’s history. Her works include Frontier Grit, Women of the Blue and Gray, and her latest novel, The Opera Sisters.

The event is part of the Livermore Reads Together community reading program, featuring the novel "Silver Lies" by Ann Parker. Pick up a copy or borrow one from us and read along.
