African Music and Arts Village with Baba Shibambo

Experience an interactive, high-energy performance that takes participants on a journey back into the heart of ancient Africa through music and story. For the whole family in celebration of Black History Month at Livermore Public Library.

The performance with Baba Shibambo World Music is part of our Black History Month event programming happening through February 28, 2026. Celebrate the history and cultural impact of Black Americans. All are invited to attend the free events and utilize the offered resources and services to learn more about this nationally celebrated month.

Thanks to the support of the Friends of the Livermore Public Library, all Black History Month events are free and open to the public. For more information, please call 925-373-5505.
