StoryWalk® at Sycamore Grove Park

Read a story as you go on a walk with your family. The StoryWalk® is an ongoing program where a book is installed, page by page, along the Magpie Nature Loop trail at Sycamore Grove Park. A new book is featured in the display cases every other month. On a Mushroom Day by Chris Baker and Alexandra Finkeldey is the StoryWalk® book featured in Sycamore Grove Park in Dec. 2025 and Jan. 2026. Thank you to the Friends of the Livermore Library for providing funding for this program.

Scan the QR code on the last page of the StoryWalk® to complete a short survey to help the library count how many people participated in this activity. Survey respondents will be entered into a drawing to win a backpack filled with goodies. One entry per family. Families may enter again every time the StoryWalk® book is changed. The winner will be chosen at random from all eligible entries after the next StoryWalk® book is installed.

The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library in Montpelier Vermont. StoryWalk® is a registered service mark owned by the Kellogg-Hubbard Library.
