Armchair Travelers: “Hiking Holiday in Cornwall, England” by Kim Grandfield

Kim Grandfield will present an Armchair Travelers program entitled “A Hiking Holiday on the South West Coast Path in Cornwall, England” on Thursday, Jan. 8 at 1:30 p.m. in the Civic Center Library Storytime Room, 1188 S. Livermore Ave. Registration is not required to attend this free program for adults.

The South West Coast Path is perhaps the United Kingdom’s ultimate challenge for the long-distance hiker. This National Trail runs for 630 miles, stretching from Minehead in Somerset, along the coasts of Devon and Cornwall, to Poole Harbour in Dorset. In late August of 2025, Kim and Charlene Grandfield hiked one of the more spectacular sections of this trail. Kim will share photos and stories of their adventures along the trail and discuss details of their trip planning.

To request a reasonable accommodation under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), please call or email the City of Livermore’s ADA coordinator at (925) 960-4170, (TTY Relay at 711), or adacoordinator@livermoreca.gov.
