Then & Now: Morgan Territory Regional Preserve by EBRPD Sup. Naturalist Ashley Grenier

Then & Now: Livermore Stories is a local history lecture series co-presented by the Livermore Heritage Guild and the Livermore Public Library. East Bay Regional Parks District (EBRPD) Supervising Naturalist Ashley Grenier will present Then and Now: Morgan Territory Regional Preserve on Wednesday, Oct. 15 at 7 p.m. in the Storytime Room of the Civic Center Library, 1188 S. Livermore Ave. Registration is not required to attend this free program for adults.

Ashley will talk about the rich history of Morgan Territory Regional Preserve – the morning side of Mount Diablo. She will discuss the Native American communities that first called this land home, the ranchers like Jeremiah Morgan who worked the land, and the remarkable efforts that led to the park’s preservation.
