Armchair Travelers~Bali: Where the Heart, Art, & Sea Dance Together

Juls Vistnes will present an Armchair Travelers program on Thursday, September 11 at 1:30 p.m. in the Civic Center Library Storytime Room, 1188 S. Livermore Ave. Juls’s presentation is entitled “Bali: Where the Heart, Art, and the Sea All Dance Together.” Registration is not required to attend this free program for adults. In July 2023, Juls Vistnes and her husband, Rick, embarked on a 14-day adventure in Bali. In the villages of Amed, they went snorkeling and scuba diving off local fishermen’s boats, explored shrines filled with elegant deities, and even visited a Balinese healer. In Ubud, they were delighted by Balinese dance performances. They ended their amazing trip by hopping on a ferry to Lombok to relax for a few days at the water’s edge. During this Armchair Traveler talk, Juls will share their personal experiences and adventures, along with some handy travel tips.
