Livermore Public Library invites the public to join an online conversation with New York Times bestselling author Casey McQuiston on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at 4 p.m. McQuiston will discuss their latest romantic comedy, The Pairing, in a digital livestream event.

In The Pairing, two bisexual exes unexpectedly find themselves on the same European food and wine tour. What begins as a humorous competition to prove they are over each other soon reveals lingering feelings, as old flames reignite amidst the culinary backdrop of Europe.
