Summer Learning Program Begins!

The Livermore Public Library Summer Learning Program begins today May 27 and ends August 6, 2025. All ages are welcome to join the fun. Participants can track their reading and activities to earn raffle prizes like a Nintendo Switch, LEGO sets, Yeti Cooler, Beats headphones, a National Parks Pass, and more! Everyone receives a free book just for signing up. Register at Livermore.beanstack.org or on the Beanstack app. Paper gameboards are also available at all Livermore Library locations.

“Level Up at Your Library” is the theme for Summer Learning Program 2025 . The Livermore Public Library is committed to supporting youth summer learning. According to a study by the Rand Corporation, students lose knowledge and skills over summer break, performing, on average, one month behind where they left off in the spring. Summer learning programs can help children improve academic outcomes and instill a love of learning.

A full calendar of events has been planned for this summer. For further information call 925-373-5500. Thanks to Friends of the Livermore Library and our other partners for making Summer Learning possible. Additional partners include Chick-fil-A, Panda Express, Livermore Area Recreation and Park District, Livermore Disc Golf Club, Livermore Filipino-American Organization, Papa Murphy's Pizza, Quest Science Center, Open Heart Kitchen, and East Bay Regional Park District.
