The Science of Crabs (register for 1 of 4 sessions)

Children will learn about crab behavior and life cycles with experts from the Greater Farallones Association.  Includes observation of live sand, hermit, rock, and shore crabs. Call 925-373-5505 to register for 1 of the 4 sessions below.  Space is limited.  For kids going into grades K-3.

Register for a session:

  • 10 a.m. – Grades K-1
  • 11 a.m. – Grades 2-3
  • 12:15 p.m. – Grades K-1
  • 1:15 p.m. – Grades 2-3

Level up at the Library! All ages can join the fun and sign up (if you haven't already) for Summer Learning at Livermore.beanstack.org or on the Beanstack app. Paper gameboards are also available at all Livermore Library locations. Summer Learning runs until August 6, 2025. Participants who track their reading and activities have a chance to win prizes. Everyone receives a free book just for signing up! Thanks to Friends of the Livermore Library and our other partners for making the Summer Learning program and its events possible.
